My honest review of Stan, the AI sales agent
Published October 28, 2026 · By Eric Adjei-Boampong, Founder of Baykscloud Consultants
A sales pipeline can go quiet for a simple reason: prospecting and follow-up keep getting pushed behind the work already on your calendar. That's the part I want to solve with Stan, Marblism's AI sales agent.
I use Marblism to support the day-to-day work of running Baykscloud Consultants. Stan is my favorite for one practical reason: he helps move sales outreach forward when my attention is needed elsewhere. This is my honest review, not a claim that software closes every deal on its own.
What Stan does, and what the 700 million figure means
Marblism describes Stan as an AI Sales Associate that finds prospective customers, sends outreach emails, and follows up. The company advertises access to 700 million leads. That's a database-size claim, not a promise that every contact is a fit for your business or will become a customer.
The useful part is the workflow. You define the kinds of prospects you want, such as industries, job titles, company sizes, and locations. Stan can then source leads, verify email addresses, and organize them in a pipeline. From there, you can set up campaigns with email steps, waiting periods, and optional LinkedIn touches. See Marblism's Stan page for its product details.
For me, the appeal is having prospecting and repeat follow-up in the same process. I don't have to rely on a good intention to "get to those leads later." Stan can help keep that work moving while I focus on running the business and speaking with people who are ready to talk.
My honest take: useful, not magic
A big contact database only matters if the people match your audience. I'd take time to define your ideal customer carefully, then check the first leads and messages before you let a campaign run more independently. A vague target can produce a lot of activity without producing the right conversations.
I also appreciate that you can control when outreach starts. According to Marblism's guide to working with Stan, outreach doesn't begin until you switch it on. You can also keep auto-approval off so you review leads before Stan contacts them.
That control matters. You still need a clear offer, accurate messaging, and responsible outreach practices. Stan can help with the repetitive work; he can't replace your judgment about who should hear from you or what you should promise them.
The rest of my Marblism team
Stan is the focus, but sales doesn't happen in isolation. These are the other AI employees I use to help keep business tasks moving.
Eva: email drafts ready for review
Email can quietly eat into the time you need for higher-priority work. Eva, Marblism's AI Executive Assistant, organizes my inbox into categories and prepares email drafts directly in it. I can review a draft, make changes, and send it myself. That keeps the final decision with me while giving me a useful first pass.
Penny: a steadier blog-writing process
Publishing useful articles takes research, writing, and consistency. Penny helps me write blog articles aimed at Google searches. I still care about accuracy and whether an article sounds right for the business, but having a writing assistant makes it easier to keep content work on the agenda.
Sonny: social posts without starting from a blank page
When I'm busy, social media can slip. Sonny posts across my social channels on autopilot. That makes it easier to maintain an active presence without having to draft and schedule each post manually.
Rachel: help with incoming calls
A call can come in when I'm focused on another task. Rachel answers the phone, books appointments, and transfers calls when needed. She gives callers a route forward instead of leaving every call for me to catch later.
One place to check in
The benefit of having several specialized AI employees is that each one has a defined role: Stan handles sales outreach, Eva helps with email, Penny supports blog writing, Sonny manages social posting, and Rachel answers calls. Marblism presents their conversations in one platform, which gives me a central place to check in on what they're working on.
My view: Stan is most useful when you have a clear target market and need a more consistent way to prospect and follow up. He won't remove the need for oversight, but he can take recurring sales tasks off the mental to-do list.
Frequently asked questions
What does Stan, the AI sales agent, do?
Stan helps find prospective customers based on targeting criteria, organize leads, and run outreach campaigns with follow-ups. You choose when outreach starts and how much review you want before messages go out.
Does Stan guarantee more sales?
No. Finding contacts and sending outreach do not guarantee replies, qualified opportunities, or closed deals. Your targeting, offer, message quality, and sales process still matter.
Can I review Stan's outreach before it is sent?
Marblism's guide says you can keep auto-approval off and approve leads before outreach. You can also leave outreach switched off until you are ready to begin.
Is Stan the only AI employee in Marblism?
No. Marblism also offers employees for tasks like inbox organization, blog writing, social media posting, and phone answering. In my workflow, those roles complement Stan's sales outreach.
